What a morning it is. Still a bit dark and very, very cold!! My French Pressed coffee is helping me wake up.These cookies (Grandma Backer's Snickerdoodles) I made yesterday for Nate. I also made peanut butter and oatmeal cookies. John and I are putting a box together for him while he is deployed. John went down to store and came back with some magazines and other things John felt Nate would need. We are very proud of him for serving our country. I know he is doing a good job.
I read this morning in Psalms 13 about trusting in God's mercy and prayer. The first section shows the prayer while going through tough stuff. It appearing that the enemy has taken over, but continuing in prayer. Then there is prayer of rejoicing that the Lord has seen us. Once again prayer appears. Prayer, prayer, prayer. I love what Jon Corson said " The old adage that prayer changes things is true. But the real thing prayer changes is us." Thank you Lord for your mercy on me.
