It's 8:00 at night and I was a bit panic over not having my photo(s) for the day. My first victim was Suzi. As you can tell in her eyes she was not to pleased with me. I better hide my camera before I leave for work tomorrow because she just might destroy it for teasing her with photos!! The dog is smart--she has caught on to my "come here sweet Suzi"!! John even agreed that she wasn't too pleased with me and the camera. So, I decided to go the neighbor's house. She has darling kids and darling toys. I could snap a photo there. My creative juices began to flow. I had the 50 mm lens and was shooting a f/1.8 (low light). Selena was as cute as ever but the train caught my camera eye. This little train set is for Issac. It so reminded me of the train set we STILL have for Nate--Brio train. He enjoyed it so much while growing up, and I know that little Issac will enjoy his own little train too. They really grow with you. Now Selena will probably want to decorate it with bits of bling and sparkle (of which I will capture in photo). The final photo (which I took with creative juices flowing)is of some gifts we received today from Aaron, Janey and the kids. We love these useful gifts!! They sent us the makings for cookies, soup and even tea. The gift wrap was really neat. I am blessed with creative family!!

All these photos were taken with the D90 50mm lens at various f'stops. I learning about the 'sweet spot' for my lens. Plus, how to take more clear photos with the exposure delay mode and a battery remote. (I LOVE my remote). There is absolutely no wiggle in the camera. Also, I have taken the vibration reduction off. I have learned many tricks with the books I got from Costco written by Scott Kelby. Thank you Elizabeth for telling me about these books!!
Until later..........
