I've been on a photo frenzy today!!! This COLD morning I got up and went to the University of Oregon parade with three special people. I really thought it was just a parade but was corrected once I got in the car: it was an Oregon appreciation parade. I noticed what everyone else had on it was green or yellow. I was wearing a red coat and red hat (Auburn colors). We were a bit cold, but enjoyed being together. It was pretty funny though when the three adults (all mothers) could not figure out how to put the baby stroller together. Between us three of us were many years of many variety of stroller use. But, could we figure the 2010 model out: NO. Finally I asked this group of 'younger' folks if they knew anything about the new strollers. It only took three grandmothers, three young fathers, and two young mothers to figure this thing out. We all giggled but did it. After the stroller was up, the we all walked down to the parade route and found our spot. I do believe that the younger of us was thoroughly enjoying this parade. There were big trucks, and this little fellow loves trucks--all trucks.

The first photo is pretty self-explanatory. Yes, that's the Oregon Duck on the motorcycle. I do believe that he was the highlight of the parade which was honoring our football team. Yes, we love our Ducks but we LOVE our Duck!! This Duck was anxious to get right out there and mingle with us all.

The middle photo I shot using shutter mode and panning with the motorcycle. I thought this was kind of neat!!

The third photo was really the first photo I took today. I stood in the street and shot right down West 11th Avenue. Yes, I was the crazy lady with the camera!!

All the photos were taken on shutter mode, telephoto lens on the D90.
