Well blog, I haven't forgot you, I've just been pretty busy keeping early mornings and late nights. How do I get some time to write? Well, this early morning gives me this much needed time.
I have taken a few days off of work to help my friend get her oldest daughter married. An adventure this has been!! My job has included counselor, chef, baker, personal shopper, bookkeeper, organizer, encourager, advisor, planner, transportation and photographer. Probably the highlight of my whirlwind three days has been the opportunity to see a high-end, professional photographer (yes there were two hired) that were awesome. Just watching them was a learning experience, and I got to ask "a few" questions, assist and follow. (My assistances was 'move this, ok now get that'. Yes gopher work--but loving it. I am thoroughly convinced that I WILL be keeping my day job and NOT pursing this kind of work. It is too much work for an almost 60 year old nana/grandmother!!! I love doing small jobs in photography, but welcome learning anytime. I realized these last four days that I just don't have the get-up-and-go like I use to have at age 25!!
Here are some photos I will share. I took them using both the D40 with a 35mm lens and the D90 using 200mm.
