I had to share these two photos today.  After just a crazy week I was honored to take photos at Debbie's bridal shower.  There were sooooooo many photos, but I think this silly one of Debbie and her family took the prize.  Margaret (the red head with the mouth wide open) is one of my special friends. She has been with me through all kinds of stuff and vice-versa.  I shared this bride shower with about 40 ladies honoring Debbie.  Her wedding is at the end of the January.

When I got home I noticed the sky and clouds.  They were so beautiful. I grabbed the camera and was able to capture this shot.  I like it.   Both of these photos were taken with the D90 and using the telephoto lens.  I've been reading Scott Kelby's photography books decided to take his advice and stick with the telephoto for an all purpose lens--if the light is correct.  I was fortunate.  Also, I took the flash off the camera and was able to use it as a remote. That was really cool.
