Ok I must admit I did not take this photo today: I took it on Sunday, but I must talk about this couple today. What special friends they are. This couple were childhood sweethearts and they have been married for 50 years!!! First, they both lead a marriage group that John and I attended about 25 years ago (wow... that's long ago); second, Hank was our veternarian. This sweet couple came back into our lives about two years ago, and they haven't changed at all. About six months ago Hank was diagnosed with CJD and they both are walking through some tough stuff. It has been my honor to capture photos of them, and I am glad it captures their love. Sometimes Hank doesn't really know who I am, but I know he knows me in his heart--that's what matters!! The funny thing is that he knows me best when I'm dragging the camera around my neck taking his photo!! Oh this photo was taken with the D90, telephoto lens and apert setting.

Well, it's 8:00 pm and I've had a busy day. I've spoken with Susan a few times today. There is so much stuff happening, and I am impressed how she is handling it all. She just stands ups and does it!! She is walking out her faith in her daily adventure!!!
