My photo-of-the-day for today (which was taken yesterday) is...
our Thanksgiving turkey.
The models in my home are not being cooperative. Suzi (the black Labrador) goes hides, Molly (the weiner dog) now 'pretends' to be asleep in her kennel, and John--well, he is just NOT cooperative with me. Therefore, I decided to create my own model: the turkey. The turkey can't hide, can't get away from me, and doesn't spit out complaints when I ask for a photo. Turkey you are now my new best friend!!
I used my new lighting system (umbrella, stand and strobe light) for the photo. I did take a few without the lighting system, and I must admit the lighting system does help.
On this cold morning (high 30's) I'm enjoying sipping my hot coffee, listening to nice uplifting music and preparing myself for the day. One thing I am thankful for is for our relationships we have at our church. I so look forward to seeing them on Sunday. Some of our new friends are young and some just like us. What a blessing it is to have them be all be part of my life.
