Yesterday I took this photo of Snickers and Kayla. Snickers was in rare form posing and posing and Kayla, well, she is just plain ole cute. I happen to turn around to find the two of them just looking like this. I took the photo with a 50mm lens f/1.8 strobe light. What an awesome word I heard yesterday at church. I am thankful for the church we attend and that it teaches the Word and not watered-down or explained away in some overt intellectual version...it is what it is. I have never heard any of the pastors refer to the Word as coming from 'ancient writers' or playing it down of which I am thankful. Here is the link to the website Ekklesia look for 11/21/10 sermon on Romans 8:39. Thank you Wesley!!
Well, Pandora has gone off, my coffee is cold, and it is probably time for me to get moving. It is time that I get ready for the day. I have lots to do in preparation for this week. We are excited to spend time with Joy this week. She will drive down from Portland, and we always love having her around. On Saturday when I went grocery shopping I did purchase an extra turkey. I am saving it for when Nate returns from deployment in February. We will have a grand celebration then!!

ps... this is the second time that I prepared this blog post. I forgot to push the 'save now' button so it went away. Oh, the joys of remembering to do that one important step!!
