This morning photo (yes, this morning) is my pumpkin pie right in the oven. I took this with the 18-55mm lens and on-camera flash. I was too tired to bring out all the extra stuff so I just took the picture.
This morning I have made three dozen dinner rolls (by scratch), two pumpkin pies, listening and watching Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and attempted to clean up the house while keeping the dogs out of the kitchen. Quite an endeavor.
Looking over this past year I have much to be thankful for: health, awesome kids (that's you Aaron, Janey, Nate and Joy) and I will not forget the four grandkids that have brought me much joy. I don't get to see them too much but I do enjoy seeing them on video cam!! They are growing up so much. Because my grandkids are far away, I am thankful for the substitute grandkids "I" have adopted: the neighbor kids... Selena, Issac, Bella and Lucy to just name a few. I do chase them around with my camera and enjoy taking their photos. Thank you kids. Also, I am thankful for John. Retirement life is good for him. He dinkers around the house with yard work and, of course, his flowers.
Well, time to go check those rolls. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.
Blessings to you all,
