Good morning everyone!! I've a good sleep and I am ready for the day--well, almost!! I'm having my coffee, listening to music and have the Word. I love starting my day this way.
While I was getting ready for bed last night, John was dragging out his array of Christmas lights. Lights were strung all around the living room as he was snapping them together. He is getting ready to decorate the 'outside' of the house. But he was also bringing in 'hints' from the garage that maybe I need to decorate the inside of the house. It was obvious to me that a candle holder is a candle holder but he would bring the item (candle holder) and ask me what it was...a candle holder, of course.
He also discovered in his digs in the garage his handmade camel that is now way over 60 plus years. He made this when he was a little boy and it was part of the family holiday decoration in his home. And it has been part of our holiday decorations for the last 30 years. It is truly John's contribution to the holiday decoration (besides Christmas lights). My photo for this day just had to be the camel. I took it with the 50 mm lens, f/2.2 and with camera flash.
I love this season--it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I read a great article that I would like to share. Rick can share some pretty awesome stuff. Take a moment and read this one... Christmas.
Happy December 1 to everyone....
